Updated WEGA Statement on COVID-19

The Women’s Eastern Golf Association has continued to carefully monitor and review all available information regarding COVID-19. 

In light of the ongoing CDC guidance and the continuously evolving dynamics of the Coronavirus pandemic, the Executive Committee has determined that we are unable to hold the 2021 Amateur Championship.   

This is a great disappointment to all of us as we look forward each year to hosting a high quality, fun tournament.  But our first priority is the health and safety of all stakeholders, including players, parents, WEGA Executive Committee members, and golf course personnel, and we must remain committed to doing what is in the best interests of our stakeholders.

For 2022, we will host our Amateur Championship at Cobblestone Park Golf Club on June 14-16, 2022.  

We appreciate your understanding and support during these unprecedented times, and we look forward to seeing you in 2022 at Cobblestone.
